Expert Pediatric Care
At Colonial Medical Center, East Orlando, we provide expert pediatric care for children from their birth through their adolescence. Whether your child is sick or needs an annual physical we are here to provide the best care for them. We accept most insurances including Medicaid and commercial plans. We have been in practice since 1999 and Dr. Li is the only Chinese speaking pediatrician in East Orlando.
Same Day Appointments
Sick child? No worries! Call us before 11:00 am and in most cases we can see your child the same day. Although, we cannot guarantee same day appointments when scheduled in the afternoon our friendly receptionists will work with the nurses to try to fit sick children in the same day.
Please note that we usually cannot us do same day physical exam and vaccine appointments. Call us for more details.

Patients with Ambetter and Oscar
Ambetter and Oscar are PPO plans. However, unlike traditional PPOs they require a PCP to be on file. Please make sure your child is assigned to Dr. Li prior to making your appointment.
New Patient Information
When calling to make a new patient appointment please have your child's insurance information available.
If you child has Sunshine Health or Simply Healthcare through medicaid your child must be assigned to Dr. Li prior to making the appointment.
Vaccine Policy
Dr. Li and staff fully support the American Academy of Pediatrics vaccine policy and schedule. That being said, we also believe that a parent has a right to choose what they want for their children. We will work with families to figure out what is right for them. Children over 4 years old who are not vaccinated must have an exemption on file with the health department. Children under 4 who's parents do not wish to vaccinate must sign a waver acknowledging the potential risks of not vaccinating their children along with other children they come in contact with. Dr. Li's office is not liable for any illnesses and harm to children whose parents do not vaccinate.
School Forms, IRS letters and FMLA paperwork
- Requests for school entry forms can be left on our forms voicemail or request below and will take 24-48 hours to complete.
- Letters for the IRS must be requested and will only reflect the information we have on file. Letters will take 24-48 hours to complete. They cost $15.00 for current patients and $20.00 for patients that have left our practice.
- New requests for FMLA paperwork will take 24-48 hours to complete and will incur a charge of $35. Patients who already have FMLA paperwork on file prior to 03/01/2024 will not be charged. All others letters cost $10
Sports Physical Information
Florida state sports physical forms are needed by all middle and high school students who play sports. The forms can be confusing so here is some helpful information. The first 2 pages of the form are for the parents to do. This must be completed BEFORE the doctor completes the other pages. The forms are for download on the schools website but we will also have them in the office. Physical forms expire every year so make sure your child has their annual physical exam. First time athletes must get a heart screening. We do not do this or order this.
Advent Health offers $15 ECGs and will fill out any necessary forms. Call them at 407-303-2001.
